Vite+ 1.0 is out

Since Evan You’s talk at CityJS Singapore in February, I have been following Vite+ closely. Today, it reached 1.0, and I am super happy to see it get here!

Announcing Vite+ 1.0 on the VoidZero blog

Vite+ brings everything together under a single vp command, from Node version and package manager management to the dev server, linting, formatting, tests, builds, and monorepo tasks, all configured through a single vite.config.ts. It is now stable, MIT licensed, and already has close to two million weekly downloads.

Since the beta launch in July, it has also added GitLab CI support, Homebrew and Docker installation options, vp hooks and vp staged for Git hooks, and vp migrate to help migrate away from tsup.

I have been sick, and my kid is sick too, so I have not had much time to try it out properly. I will give it a proper go and share more thoughts when I get the chance.
