Thank you Trung Vo for a brilliant presentation! Appreciate how you brought AI closer to the younger generation in such an entertaining and accessible way.
One idea from Trung Vo that really stayed with me was the importance of being proactive. There is an incredible amount of knowledge available online today, so we can learn by ourselves, experiment with the problems we encounter, and start creating from even the smallest ideas. We don’t always need to wait until we “know enough” to build something.
Your talk at Google I/O Extended HCMC last Sunday left a strong impression on me

I am super super happy to be part of AI Riser Vietnam 2026, with my talk at Google I/O Extended Ho Chi Minh City this upcoming Sunday, 16th August. It is also my first time speaking in HCMC as a GDE 😂 I still remember the first talk I did with Chau Tran years ago with Angular Vietnam, before I became a GDE and started sharing more and more through talks and community events.
This time, we will be talking about something that I think is especially interesting for anyone who wants to build with AI.
AI has gotten incredibly good at building a whole app for you in minutes, which opens the door for anyone with an idea but little technical background. But getting an app built is only half the story. You still need to deploy it and make it live, and often you want the app itself to use AI to summarize content, process data, or do whatever your idea needs. That usually brings you back into the technical work: getting the source code, picking an AI service, running it, testing it, and wiring everything together.
Google AI Studio pulls most of that into one place. You build directly in the browser on Google’s AI stack: the Gemini API for AI capabilities, Firebase for the backend, and Google Cloud for deployment. Nothing to install, and you need very little technical background to follow along.
If you have an idea you have been wanting to turn into something real, come join us and build it. If time allows, I will also demo two new web features: running AI directly in the browser with the built-in AI API, and WebMCP.
